How do I transfer funds using the Advantage App?

You can send and receive money using the Advantage App. Refer below for the steps.

Send Money

To a Bank Account

  1. Tap Move Money
  2. Select e-Transfer®
  3. Enter the amount that you wish to send
  4. Select the recipient
    1. The recipient will need to first be configured via the online web portal
  5. Confirm the transfer
  6. Funds are sent
Notes
The funds are sent via Interac e-Transfer®. Once the transfer is completed, the receiver will receive a notice from Interac e-Transfer® confirming the transfer.

To a Card

  1. Tap Move Money
  2. Select Card-to-Card
  3. Enter the amount that you wish to send
  4. Select the recipient
    1. The recipient will need to first be configured via the online web portal
  5. Confirm the Interac e-Transfer® 
  6. Funds are sent

The Card-to-Card feature requires that the receiving card to support Visa Direct. Reach out to your bank should you require further clarification.

Receive Money

From a Bank Account

  1. Tap Move Money
  2. Select Interac e-Transfer® 
  3. Enter the amount that you wish to receive
  4. Select the source
    1. The recipient will need to first be configured via the online web portal. If you have already configured them as a recipient in the past, you will see their details here.
  5. Confirm the request
  6. Request is sent

From a Card

  1. Tap Move Money
  2. Select Card-to-Card
  3. Enter the amount that you wish to receive
  4. Select the source
    1. The recipient will need to first be configured via the online web portal. If you have already configured them as a recipient in the past, you will see their details here.
  5. Confirm the request
  6. Request is sent

The Card-to-Card feature requires that the card from which you are requesting transfer to support Visa Direct.
